A huge thanks to all of you that came out to the shows on the Honest Man tour so far. The fellas and I had a blast rolling coast to coast and back again. Check out the clip below from monitor man Duane. We covered a whole lot of ground on this tour, more than I ever have before:

Home now and just wrapping up a bit of down time before I hit the road again. So many shows I’m excited for coming up this summer. I’ll be getting on stage to open again for Buddy Guy and Beth Hart and also, for the first time, get to share the stage with Martin Sexton and Bruce Hornsby. Lots of great festivals coming up as well. My guitar and I will be making our way to Vancouver Island Folk Fest, Salmon Arm Roots and Blues, Canmore Folk Fest and CHIRP. Of course I’ll be joining up with my Bona Fide brethren for the Area 506 Fest, the Rhythm and Roots fest in Rhode Island, Harvest Jazz and Blues, making our first appearance at TURF and even finding ourselves in Vegas for the Big Blues Bender. All kinds of chances to take in some sounds.

Also be sure to check out the merch table as we head out this summer. We’ve got some new great shirts, hoodies and a very cool, one of a kind run of handmade leather pouches.

I’m heading out to give the lawn a trim before the rain.

Hey All,

As we’re gearing up to hit the road to release my new album “Honest Man” I thought I’d drop a line to let you all know what’s going on.

Feb 16th we start the tour on the Canadian West Coast. For the first time in years, I’m going to be hitting the road with a band. My long time drummer buddy Geoff Arsenault, Monkey Junk frontman Steve Marriner and St. John’s own funk ambassador Chris Kirby make up “The Bona Fide”. The guys are all heavy players, it’s going to be a treat to be hitting the stage with these fellas.

We’ll have copies of the new album available at all shows along with a bunch of new goodies on the merch table. If you’d like to get a copy of the new album before we get to your town, you can still pre-order a signed copy here. Speaking of the website, we’ve given my cyber home a face lift. If you look at the top of this post, it’s been christened with the brand new video of the tune “Let’s Get Back” from the new record! Performed with some of The Mellotones, my favourite big band in town.

Hey All,

Summer has finally landed here at home and that means it’s time for me to hit the road.

So many shows that I’m excited for coming up in the next while. I start off with opening for one of my favs Gregg Allman then making my way for the Saskatoon Jazz Fest with The Mellotones to headline the MainStage. Not a bad way to kick start my summer.

All kinds of new places and a few spots that I’ll be making a return. I can’t wait.

With festival season here, I’ve got my bags packed to hit the road with The Mellotones to take on the summer. After we’ve made our way into fall I’ll be making my first trip this year back to the UK and Europe.
